Do you have people in your life who don\u2019t pick up on subtleties? For example \u2013 a couple are visiting you in your home and it\u2019s getting late. You kind of hint, that it\u2019s time for them to go:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

It\u2019s been nice to have you visiting this evening. Thanks for coming.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

And they remain. The miss the subtlety.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So you step it up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Oh, look at the time. I have to get up for work tomorrow at 5 am.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

And they stay right where they are. They miss the subtlety.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Finally, you look at your wife and nod.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She says, \u201cWell \u2013 I\u2019m going to bed. Goodnight.\u201d <\/em>And you get up and open the front door for them to use as their exit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

That would probably work. It\u2019s not quite so subtle.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sadly, I admit to you, that I often don\u2019t pick up on subtleties. Laurel helps me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There are subtle realities in the story of Jesus’ resurrection — realities that you can’t afford to miss. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
