{"id":933,"date":"2020-03-25T18:58:00","date_gmt":"2020-03-25T22:58:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.curwensvillealliance.org\/pastorsblog\/?p=933"},"modified":"2020-03-25T16:22:07","modified_gmt":"2020-03-25T20:22:07","slug":"the-day-with-others","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.curwensvillealliance.org\/pastorsblog\/?p=933","title":{"rendered":"The Day with Others"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>In his book, <em>Life Together<\/em>, <\/strong>Dietrich Bonhoeffer has a rather lengthy chapter titled, <em>The Day with Others.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As he unfolds his thinking, it&#8217;s evident that he is teaching his readers how to be the Church &#8211; in whatever environment find themselves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When I say, <em>&#8220;how to be the church,&#8221;<\/em> I am referring to experiencing God&#8217;s presence together &#8212; as friends, as a family, as a couple. It&#8217;s what we do Sundays, on Susquehanna Avenue, when we can.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bonhoeffer is pretty straight forward in this area.
